PVM is proud to announce that The Ring, an artistic installation by CCxA, received the Alliance pour le centre-ville Award presented by Montréal centre-ville on February 22.

Since its installation last September at the main entrance of Esplanade PVM, the Ring has had a resounding impact. The installation symbolizes the strong union between Montreal, its citizens and visitors. Timeless and contemporary, it has been admired by the many residents and workers in the downtown area, as well as by visitors who are once again able to enjoy all the city has to offer. Thanks to its diffuse lighting, the Ring establishes a strong connection from the illuminated cross of Mount Royal all the way to PVM and the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel, via McGill College Avenue, which itself will be completely revitalized in the coming years.

We are very proud of this recognition which highlights our contribution to the vitality of downtown Montreal!

About The Ring

This artistic installation was made possible thanks to the financial support of Tourisme Montréal's Fonds de maintien des actifs stratégiques en tourisme and the financial participation of the Government of Québec in the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal's J'aime travailler au centre-ville initiative for the revitalization of downtown Montreal.
