Iconic location, reinvented interior design, and innovated visual identity: a space dedicated to celebrating life's big and small moments.

Les Enfants Terribles proudly announces the opening of their flagship location at 3 Place Ville Marie (PVM). Set for mid-April, this opening marks the unveiling of a new image, achieved through a collaboration with Atelier Zébulon Perron for interior design and Baillat Studio for brand elevation. These changes mark the beginning of a new chapter for the group, which celebrated its 15th anniversary last year.

The renowned establishment sets the scene for success on the Esplanade PVM,
at the heart of Nouveau Centre

For its new statement flagship, Les Enfants Terribles set up shop at the heart of the metropolis, with the ambition of becoming Montreal’s downtown neighborhood brasserie. The restaurants’ new address, 3 PVM, is at the heart of the Nouveau Centre, Ivanhoé Cambridge's initiative to animate the downtown core by creating a destination for gourmet, trendy and cultural experiences. The iconic location of this new restaurant, featuring a terrace overlooked by The Ring, is symbolic by its prestige and accessibility. Alexandre Brosseau states:

This evolved concept, situated on the Esplanade PVM, at the heart of Nouveau Centre, is an exceptional location for Les Enfants Terribles, as it offers Montrealers and visitors a neighborhood brasserie that resonates with our downtown cores’ energy.

Annik Desmarteau, Vice President, Offices, Quebec at Ivanhoé Cambridge, also agrees:

Les Enfants Terribles, being a partner and tenant, with whom we have had the pleasure to collaborate with for eight years. We are delighted with the new location of this renowned establishment on the Esplanade PVM. This renewal will certainly contribute to the vitality and effervescence of our properties in Nouveau Centre, while also making it very attractive.

Spanning over 6000 square feet indoors along with a spectacular terrace, the establishment, set to open this spring, will accommodate over 300 guests. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy an impressive terrace offering exceptional views over Mount Royal, McGill College Avenue and The Ring: the already iconic public art installation designed by Claude Cormier and his landscape architecture and urban design firm CCxA, which represents the heart of Nouveau Centre.

A new chapter marked by bold design and culinary innovation

The fruit of collaboration with local design firm Atelier Zébulon Perron, Les Enfants Terribles PVM unveils a fresh, warm and colourful new design concept. Zébulon Perron, a celebrated Montreal
designer with global recognition, renowned for his work on Marcus, Café Constance, Bar Furco, and Montréal Plaza, to name a few, brings to life invigorating, dynamic, and inviting spaces. Alexandre Brosseau declares:

This new design concept marks the evolution of our classic greyscale and weathered colour palette to the emergence of a vibrant and timeless world of color and noble materiality. Les Enfants Terribles continue to grow and mature with age, while remaining forever young and ambitious!

Inspired by the elegance of iconic New York restaurants in the 1960s, the redesigned space features a breathtaking sculptural ceiling, a nod to Louis-Joseph Papineau, a distinguished Quebec architect recognized for landmarks like the Peel metro station, Windsor station, and the Quebec Pavilion at Expo 67’, who co-designed the group's first brasseries. The transformation continues with a revamped menu by Executive Chef S'Arto Chartier-Otis, proposing several new dishes which continue to blend creativity and tradition. Within the dining area, the ambiance has been refined towards a more formal and elegant look, reflecting the space's noble materials and the group's mission. This elevated new direction taken by Les Enfants Terribles is an expression of their passion for the art of hospitality, and how it can be made accessible to all.

Forever Young: The timeless philosophy of Les Enfants Terribles

Through the Forever Young (Jeune à Jamais) campaign, the group defines the essence of Les Enfants Terribles as being an attitude and state of mind. This campaign celebrates the timeless vitality that transcends generations, fostering a space where clients of all ages can come together and share life's precious moments. Francine Brûlé proudly and emotionally affirms:

At Les Enfants Terribles, youth is not measured by the number of candles on a birthday cake, but by the energy, passion, and enthusiasm invested in each present moment. The Forever Young campaign reflects our philosophy that age is not a barrier to youthfulness and vitality.

After more than 15 years of passion and service, the group is more than ever driven by their mission to celebrate the enfant terrible in each and every one of us!
