Aux Alentours will be, among other things, the opportunity to be charmed by the newly revitalized Esplanade PVM, thus regaining its event and cultural vocation, to please each and everyone.

This summer, you are invited to experience Aux Alentours while strolling through Ivanhoé Cambridge's downtown properties. Since the beginning of July, Aux Alentours is happening at Place Ville Marie’s Esplanade PVM, Centre Eaton de Montréal, Place Montréal Trust and Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth hotel. Esplanade PVM has taken on the look of a port village with a warm, lively atmosphere, and the other three properties will also feature the same vibe.

Relaxation, discovery and inspiration

Whether you take part in a yoga session, enjoy a 5@7, hold an outdoor meeting in a place where you may be surprised by a spontaneous performance or simply take time to soak up the atmosphere of downtown Montreal, Aux Alentours will delight you all summer long. But you may need several visits to experience the vibrancy of Esplanade PVM, the exceptional shopping and culinary offerings at the Centre Eaton de Montréal and Place Montréal Trust, and the timeless charm of Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth.

“With Aux Alentours, the completely revitalized Esplanade PVM, which reopened a few weeks ago, starts its first summer by reclaiming its role as a venue for events and cultural activities. Ivanhoé Cambridge wants to breathe new life into its public spaces and to be a major contributor to downtown Montreal’s vitality, so it’s welcoming people and offering them unique activities in the heart of the city,” said Annik Desmarteau, Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Vice President, Office, Quebec.

“This initiative is based on a ramble through the heart of our downtown Montreal properties and allows us to create connections between them within a defined area; it gives the public the opportunity to stroll from place to place, going from inside to outside, combining a shopping trip with a social and cultural encounter,” added Johanne Marcotte, Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Vice President, National Operations and Leasing Quebec, Retail.

Free activities at four downtown properties

Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Aux Alentours promises a lively, inspiring and welcoming summer, with a series of free activities taking place at Esplanade PVM, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, Centre Eaton de Montréal and Place Montréal Trust. Check auxalentoursmtl.com regularly for all the program details: surprising activities will be added throughout the summer season. And make sure to reserve your spot via the website!
