A unique layout
Based on the needs of tenants in the context of hybrid work, the firm VAD DESIGNERS D’ESPACES INC. designed the entire space as well as the collaborative areas, while HUMÀ DESIGN+ ARCHITECTURE developed the informal workspaces. These were conceived as part of a design challenge launched by Index-Design, LAAB Collective, and Körnelius, and presented by La Caisse (formerly Ivanhoé Cambridge) in the spring of 2021.
Each Design Challenge is a free online event where three teams of selected professionals (ideators and creators, architects and designers) generate ideas in real time to (re)arrange a space, rethink its functions, and address the new needs, expectations, and aspirations of its users.
