Skin Glazing

By Ariane Gagnon

Skin glazing is the latest trend taking the beauty world by storm. The focus is on achieving a vibrant, healthy-looking complexion using a simple, stripped-down regimen.

So long, layering and contouring… hello, moisturizing and minimalism! Inspired by Korean skin care essentials, this is a technique that's quick to learn – and quick to love!

Start with an in-depth cleanse, using a product that doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils. A cleansing balm is a great solution for smooth, supple and radiant results.

Then spray your entire face with toner to penetrate as deeply as possible. Follow this with a vitamin C–based serum to brighten and perfect.

Next step: mix a few drops of facial oil with your favourite moisturizer and gently knead into your skin.

Now onto your makeup: start by applying a booster uniformly across your face for a "glowing from the inside" look. Then put a little cream luminizer on your cheekbones, eyebrows, the bridge of your nose and the inside corner of your eyes – along with a dab of setting powder, if you're so inclined.

The final touch: a quick brush and curl of the eyelashes, a bit of balm on your exfoliated lips… and you're ready to go! Your skin will thank you!
